LATEST NEWS
Amanda Haehner

We were devastated that Mandy
Haehner, Croydon teacher, Local NASUWT Committee Member and National
Ex-President, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday 8th June.
Mandy's funeral
was held in Cambridge on 24th May. Many friends and colleagues attended
from all over the UK. St Mary's High School was shut for the day to enable
staff to attend.
Messages of condolences should be sent to Mandy's parents: Mr &
Mrs Haehner, 71 Hurst Park Avenue, Cambridge, CB4 2AB.
We have received a number of enquiries about
donations and flowers. The family have requested donations to either the
Royal Marsden Hospital or the Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO). Cheques should
be made out to either the Royal Marsden Hospital or the VSO using just these
titles.
The donations should be sent via the funeral directors and not directly to the
chosen organisations. The address is Co-op Funeralcare, 34 James Street,
Cambridge, CB1 1HX.
There is an obituary in
this week's TES (26/6/09, page 25).
See here.
